We’re excited to share the latest improvements now live across Safety Hangar. Every update this month is shaped directly by your feedback — focusing on clarity, organisation, and smoother workflows for both administrators and users.

🔎 Clear Visual Aides for Admin & User Views

Switching between admin and user views is now much easier. A new visual indicator shows exactly which view you’re in at all times, helping prevent mistakes when creating, reviewing, or managing documents. You’ll now see a small Admin/User tag displayed next to your company logo for instant clarity.

🏢 Company Section – File Attachments & Permissions

You can now upload files directly to a company profile, creating a centralised hub for essential documents such as:

• Safety certificates
• Compliance records
• Risk assessments
• Insurance documents
• Onboarding materials

When uploading, you can choose whether each file is Public, Private, or Admins & Assignees Only, giving you full control over visibility and compliance.

🛠️ Assets Section – Complete Document History for Every Item

Assets now support file attachments too, allowing you to store:

• Maintenance records
• Inspection reports
• Manuals
• Calibration certificates
• Safety checks

This creates a traceable, organised history for each asset — streamlining audits, improving accountability, and making safety documentation instantly accessible.

📍 Location Section – Approvals & File Uploads

Two major improvements have arrived in the Location section:

• Approval Toggles: You can now choose whether a form attached to a location requires approval. This gives you flexibility to decide when a workflow is needed and when staff can proceed independently.
• File Uploads: Just like in Companies and Assets, you can now upload files directly within the Location section — perfect for safety reports, maps, permits, or location‑specific records.

Everything stays organised, easy to find, and stored exactly where it’s most useful.
